Woman Reading

This is 'Reading', by the celebrated French Impressionist painter  Berthe Morisot (1841-1895). Should you happen to be anywhere near Paris, you can see an exhibition of her work at the Musee Marmotan, on till the end of July. She was a beautiful woman as well as a fine artist, and here is a painting of her by Manet:
