Woman Reading by a Window

This painting is by Carl Holsoe (1863-1935), a Danish painter who, as far as I can make out, seems to have specialised in back-views of women engaged in various activities. This one is just called 'At the Window'. I like these paintings very much and, as several feature women reading, you will be seeing more of them in the not too distant future.
