I've got a million things to do this afternoon but I am not doing any of them because I had to sit down and do this meme the minute I saw it on Cornflower. The rules are obvious -- just complete the sentences with books you have read this year. Fun.
I began the day with The Dud Avocado
On my way to work I saw The Hanging Wood
and walked by Craven House
to avoid The Executor,
but I made sure to stop at The Sugar House.
In the office, my boss said "The Necessary Aptitude?"
and sent me to research The Doctor's Dilemma.
At lunch with The Misses Mallett
I noticed a Little Boy Lost
under The River,
then went back to my desk in The Heat of the Day.
Later, on the journey home, I bought Four Meals for Fourpence
because I have A Stranger in the Family.
Then settling down for the evening, I picked up The Novel in the Viola
and studied An Episode of Sparrows
before saying goodnight to The Invisible Ones.
